Phra Nang Beach
Phra Nang Beach is a 15-minute walk from RBC and is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Gorgeous, white, soft sand and crystal-clear water surrounded by awe-inspiring limestone cliffs. At one end of the beach is the spirit house of a local legendary princess. A must see!
West Railay Beach
West Railay Beach is at our doorstep and just as beautiful with soaring limestone cliffs. The beach and swimming areas are accessible by flat sandy footpaths from each home. And where you will find the entrance to the bustling Walking Street. Kayak and paddle board rentals are easily booked on the beach.
East Railay Beach and Pier
The Pier at East Railay Beach is the arrival point for all of Railay and the headland. There are many shops, restaurants and bars also along this beach that border the mangroves. A unique sight during high tide.
Diving, Snorkeling, Paddle Boarding & Kayaking
Snorkeling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards can be rented locally. Snorkeling tours offshore offer the best views of marine life. Dive tours near the area islands are also popular.
Walking Street
The heart of Railay, this street is filled with restaurants Thai and Western coffee shops, eclectic bars, souvenir and clothing shops, and mini-marts.
Hiking
There are several jungle trails around the Railay Peninsula. Our front office can provide you with a detailed map. The track to the viewpoint and lagoon is located on the path to Phra Nang Beach. It is a 30-minute scramble up a clay mud path to a fantastic viewpoint and another 20-minutes down to the lagoon. A physical challenge with great rewards. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
Rock Climbing
Railay is a mecca for climbers who visit from all over the world to scale the surrounding limestone cliffs. There are several climbing shops — prices are set between shops, and they all offer half-day to 3-day courses from children & beginners up. We recommend Hot Rock or Railay Rock Climbing Shop on West Railay Walking Street. Tex Rock Climbing is on East Railay. A great activity for the whole family.
Thai Boxing
The ‘Last Bar’ at East Railay has Muay Thai fights, usually a few evenings a week.
