The Staff

Our staff tries to make each house and the surrounding grounds as comfortable and welcoming as possible in order to make your stay with us relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.

Our 23 on-site staff are here to assist you during your stay. Our office hours are from 8am-6pm November through April, and 8am-5pm May through October.

We can arrange transport for you to/from the Krabi and Phuket Airport, Krabi town, and other areas. The office is also able to book massages, shopping and cooking, help if your house has a problem and answer any questions you may have . . . just ask!

Travel

We can arrange a taxi to pick you up from Phuket Airport or Krabi Airport. You will be transferred to Ao Nang or Ao Nam Mao (depending on the weather/season), where our company boat will bring you to Railei Beach.

We will have a staff member meet you on the beach to help you transport your luggage and show you to the office. If you arrive after our office has closed, our staff will bring you directly to your house. It's best to arrive at Railei with only the luggage you need for your stay. The Bangkok Airport has a left luggage room where you can deposit extra bags which you won't need. Coming to Railei at low tide can sometimes be a bit tricky.

Traveling to Railei by long-tail boat is easiest at high tide. Those
traveling with children and the elderly should make all efforts to do so,
especially between May and October. Please go to the Tide
Chart for this information.

**If you have a short lay-over in Bangkok we can recommend and make a booking for you at the Regent Suvarnabhumi Hotel which is 5 minutes from the airport. Railei Beach Club can book for you at a discounted rates, please let us know if you are interested. See our "link" page for the website.

Tawee

For transportation to/from Krabi Airport we charge 1,300 Baht (including taxi and boat) between 8am and 5pm. After 5pm transportation is 1,400 Baht. We suggest arriving in Phuket no later than 2pm, or Krabi no later than 4pm, to ensure you will be at the beach before dark.

PHUKET: We can book a private speedboat for transfers from Ao Po Pier in Phuket to Railei Beach for 15,000 Baht. The trip takes 1 hour. By taxi from Phuket to Ao Nang, then by long-tail boat to Railei is 3,300 Baht. The trip takes about 2.5 hours.

In the high season only, there is a twice daily ferry to/from Phuket Town and Railei/Ao Nang. 2 hours-650 Baht/pax, 450 Baht/child

Year-round, there is a once daily public speedboat service to/from Bang Rung Pier (NE Phuket) and Railei/Ao Nang. 1.5 hours 950 Baht/pax

Restaurants, Bars and Small Shops

Railei Beach Club does not have its own restaurant; however, most resorts and bungalows around Railei East and West have restaurants and offer a variety of Thai and western food. Don't forget to hire Pi Daeng at least once to cook for you at your house!

You can also find coffee shops, bars, minimarts, internet services, fax, travel/tour agencies, ATMs, international phone service, dive shop, movie/music shop, tattoo shops and more.

Massage

Dtod and Pao can come to your house to give you a Thai massage of one to two hours, one or two people at a time. They are also able to do oil massage, but Thai massage is their specialty.

Shopping and Cooking

Railei Beach Club can organize light shopping and/or a private Thai cook for you at your house. Pi Daeng is an excellent cook and can prepare any meals for parties of up to 10 people.

Weddings & Parties at Railei Beach Club

Please keep in mind that any large gatherings will be asked to respect the community in which they are celebrating their event by acknowledging a property wide quite time after 10 pm. If the group prefers to continue "celebrating" we ask that you move the party to one of the bars on Railei outside of Railei Beach Club.

For our guests staying at one or more houses, we welcome you to have weddings and/or receptions with guests numbering up to 10.

Any gathering (up to 10 people) fully contained in a house using what the house already has to offer in terms of tables, chairs, flatware, dishes, etc. will not incur any fees beyond the normal rental prices.

Any gathering which has more than 10 people, extends between house properties, occurs on RBC's common property, or anywhere else on RBC land will incur the following location fees:

2-6 people = 5,000 Baht
7-10 people = 15,000 Baht
11-15 people = 20,000 Baht
16-20 people = 25,000 Baht
21 or more = 30,000 Baht

Weddings on the Beach

Of course you may always have your wedding on the beach, which is public property. However, in case of rain or strong wind we highly recommend you be prepared with a backup plan to have your wedding in a protected place.

We are able to organize the following services through our office:

Food Shopping and Cooking for up to 10 people. Prices are available on request.
** 24 hours notice is required for shopping and cooking for small parties, and 72 hours notice for larger parties. **
Massage - 400 Baht/hour per person for Thai Massage; 600 Baht/hour per person for Oil Massage
Kayak Rental: 150 Baht/hour
Wine Orders: We can provide you with a nice selection of red, white, rose and sparkling wines by the bottle or case. **2 weeks advance order time is required for this.
Drinking Ice, Beverages etc...we must have advance notice to buy sufficient amounts.
Babysitting services provided by our housekeepers after 5pm
